hermes "life in a pocket" silk tie

hermes has introduced a special-edition silk men's tie to be sold throughout hermes stores in support of the fight against AIDS. the tie was designed for hermes by their in house menswear designer veronique nichanian and has a special pocket designed to hold a condom and a tiny red bow sewn above the hermes logo on the reverse. a portion of all proceeds will be donated to Sidaction, a french-based charity dedicated to fighting the spread of HIV/AIDS and to the search for a cure.

the special edition "life in a pocket" silk tie will be available in all hermes boutiques as of late june. tentative price of EUR135, US$210, GBP106.

i hope there will be a cure for HIV/AIDS soon. i will get this tie.
