Asked myself the same.
ReplyDeleteThis whole collection is really bad i think.
I did love dior homme and even the first collection KVA made but it really gets worese from season to season.
Dior homme is pretty much dead!
May I say it here as well?
ReplyDeleteI miss Hedi Slimane.
As The-T said I liked the 1st collection from KVA but it got quite worse... even if I was a bit pleasantly surprised last January for F/W0910 ... remember?
I agree..I was compelled to blog about the bad-ness of this too recently!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a bad Katharine Hamnett / Henry Holland rip-off, and it's not even political/funny.
I think there are some nice pieces in the KVA dior collections he has done so far but then again most of these look like Hedi rip offs.
ReplyDeleteIt's just not relevant anymore and the whole quality especially for the jeans is nothing compared to Slimanes years.

Dior Homme is 'doomed'. At least Hedi had some taste in the 'bread and butter' merchandise:-P This is plain tacky.
ReplyDeleteDior is dead.
ReplyDeletethis tee cracks me up. it reminds of of stupid telemarketers, that yes actually call up and ask for the BIG BIG BIG boss even for the most obvious of companies, even if they died a long time ago.
ReplyDeleteJust can't figure out the point.. Can I speak to Mr Van Assche Please?
ReplyDeleteI think I may be the only one that acutal like these shirts. It reminds me of that other shirt from a while back with teh stage and the broken drums, you probably have no idea what I'm talking about right? :P
ReplyDeleteHT: no idea lol!
ReplyDeletelol I'm sorry! I couldn't remember the quote...but it was somewhere along the lines of a lights going down and a stage haha. I tried searching for a pic, but nothing. I think it was originally designed by Hedi Slimane. hope that helps. ;)
ReplyDeleteI remember the tee you mean HT - it's the 'The End' t-shirt that Hedi did in homage to that drop-kick Pete Doherty. Click here for a picture of the shirt.
