i love shoes that aren't black, and it gets me excited when i see a nice and well made pair. excuse the scratches as it's been battered, but can i class these as monk straps? these are so beautiful, i really do like.

but that 2 tone suit is rather amazing isn't it. the suit, complete with the leather harness, was also featured in an editorial for flaunt magazine.
via hotdish & bars, we see harry potter's tom felton, who played "draco" in the films, in a photoshoot wearing the much in demand burberry prorsum "portrait" print t-shirt. i love the vintage feel of the t-shirt, and the pairing with distressed denims is something i would totally do too. very nice.
his t-shirt looks slightly translucent though, you can see the top of his pants (not that i'm a perv!) through the t-shirt. i'm wondering if it's strong lighting or a different fabric used. is that why he's posing in such a way to protect his, erm, modesty?
i previously featured penn badgley, who plays dan humphrey in "gossip girl", also in the same t-shirt. but that's not all, actor aaron paul and "kings of leon" nathan followill also spotted the same t-shirt in white. more here.

now for all you historians, erm... who's that pictured on the t-shirt? he looks like john galliano to me!
a short 2mins clip showing the acting prowess of tom ford. very mesmerising, why isn't he a full fledged actor yet? his directorial debut will be shown at the upcoming venice film festival, it will be good.
before we look at the next shirt i tried on, let's look at how nonchalant yet graceful model eddie klint nick snider looked in that beautiful white shirt with red embroidery.

i previously featured a trussardi 1911 leather keepall with embossed animals, here's another bag with the same features, but with grey wool plaid design. it's amazingly lightweight, masculine and practical.
i think trussardi 1911 has a good season with their accessories. i picked another bag from the same collection too, that being my favourite i shall leave it as the last of the 3 bags post.

walked past regent street last night and saw this window display at COS. i am usually against grown men wearing backpacks to work (i just think it's wrong), but i find myself very drawn to this display. the leather trimmings made the bag all the more stylish. i harboured the thought of abandoning my rules, and getting it myself!
backpacks were rather prominently featured during the spring summer 2010 shows. burberry prorsum did a really nice brown leather backpack, while louis vuitton featured a delicious grey ostrich number.

i saw this amazing jacket last week at the shops. i hesitated to try it on as i know i wouldn't bear to let go. the sleeves and collar is made of leather, and the body made of wool with snap buttons. it looks like a simple varsity jacket, but the slim cut and leather sleeves make all the differences. i really really like this.

walked past mount street earlier, and saw the new goyard shop. it looked very bright and airy, very regal:

next to goyard is allens butcher! such is the charm of mount street. walk a few doors down and you'll find antiques shops, hairdressers, christian louboutin, lanvin, balenciaga, marc jacobs etc...

simon wore the very much talked about (on this blog...) peacoat with gold crest buttons, and that much revered US$6,000 scarf from the womenswear collection, which he wore on the waist.
courtney love needs no introduction, but who is that guy beside her? he's stylist supremo panos yiapanis, who styled the editorial above, and is (or was?) also stylist to courtney, who looked amazing in that givenchy getup. and panos, wore that (if i may unfairly say since i have that coat) amazing balenciaga peacoat. notice also the striped sweater he tied to his waist...

continuing with this season's selection, here's a leather jacket from neil barrett fall winter 2009. the leather is really soft to the touch, and it's slightly padded on the inside. i think it's a great masculine looking leather jacket without looking biker-ish. ewan mcgregor is often seen out and about with neil barrett's clothing, i hope he picked this jacket too.
