I think it's just a terribly wrong rip off of the SS 2007 women collection.

there's nothing reminiscent of ss2007. the menswear collection for ss2007 under barnabe hardy was close. i have the long silk/cotton coat which was a reference back to one of the opening looks from womenswear ss07.

ReplyDeleteWow. I think I can only say that I like the glasses and that's just about it. The pants are horrid and the coats don't have the usual Balenciaga structure. Dior Homme Fall 2008 comes to mind with the first row.

Did Bryanboy take over at Balenciaga for men? The clothes aren't horrible but they look like women's clothes retailored for men. Hardly successful, to say the least. Given the negative feedback, it is highly likely that the collection which will hit the store(s) will be radically different!
